About Queer Geekery
Bringing the LGBTQI2+ community together with fandom, love, and fun design!
Who We Are
We're Danny (he/him) and Greg (he/him): two gay, married, geeky, cat dads who've made Toronto their home. While both of us are geeks, we have our own passions: Danny's current obsessions are Overwatch, the Alien franchise, Gundam Seed, and WandaVision. Greg's a fanboy of both Star Trek and Star Wars (why not both?), has been playing Smash Bros from the beginning, and is currently fishing a lot in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Together, you'll find us playing Magic: The Gathering (tabletop or Arena!), arguing about the the Marvel Cinematic Universe, watching RuPaul's Drag Race, or doting on our little black cat.
We've always been a creative pair, and this site is a way we've found to channel that creativity towards producing fun designs on t-shirts, hoodies, & other merch that celebrate geeky, progressive, & 2SLGBTQI+ communities and their overlaps. By sharing our unique brand of queer geekery, we hope that we'll be able to build up and support the communities that have given us so much life and joy!
As two white settlers, we wish to acknowledge this land on which Queer Geekery operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are very grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
