Celebrating IDAHOBIT: A Day of Love, Visibility, and Progress

At Queer Geekery, we’re all about celebrating love, diversity, and the unique blend of fandom and queer identity. This May 17th, we join the global community in celebrating the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). This important day serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for acceptance, visibility, and equality for the 2SLGBTQI+ community worldwide.

A Brief History of IDAHOBIT

IDAHOBIT was established in 2004 to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder in 1990. Since then, it has grown into a worldwide event that highlights the issues faced by the queer community and promotes actions to combat discrimination. This day is about visibility, solidarity, and celebrating our diverse identities.

Queer Geekery’s Commitment to Visibility and Acceptance

Here at Queer Geekery, we believe in the power of visibility and self-expression. Our mission has always been to bring the 2SLGBTQI+ community together through fun, geeky designs that celebrate who we are.

Show Your Pride with Our Designs
